Vance Shurtliff

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Shurtliff, a native of Idaho Falls, returned home after attending Utah State and BYU-Idaho prior to earning his doctorate degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. He was trained in orthopedic manual therapy for musculoskeletal management through Evidence in Motion (EIM). Before joining Idaho Physio, Dr. Shurtliff practiced in outpatient and home health settings, becoming fascinated and educated in the aging process including balance, nutrition and longevity. He is Functional Manual Therapy trained and actively pursuing the prestigious Functional Manual Therapy Certification (CFMT). He is passionate about the aging process and helping others improve length and quality of life. His personal focus of constant learning and growth benefits those he serves through physical therapy. His wife and 5 kids are his pride and joy.

Michael J. Cuthbertson

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Certified Functional Manual Therapist

Owner

Dr. Cuthbertson graduated from Boise State University in 2013, where he competed as a division 1 wrestler. He went on to earn his doctorate in physical therapy from Idaho State University in 2016. Since then, he has spent years extensively training in manual physical therapy. In 2020, he earned his Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) with honors, a designation earned by fewer than 400 physical therapists throughout the United States. Dr. Cuthbertson is passionate about getting active adults back to doing what they love. In his free time, Dr. Cuthbertson enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and 3 children.

Morgan Johnston

Licensed Massage Therapist

Morgan is originally from New Mexico. She attended BYU-Idaho and earned her bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology. She attended Rexburg College of Massage Therapy and graduated as valedictorian. She is a gifted certified massage therapist. She aims to promote relaxation, relieve tension and pain, and enhance overall wellbeing using a combination of different massage techniques. In her free time she loves to read, play piano, and do anything outside.
